The same coaching, from home

Virtual sessions bring the Echo Motion approach into your living room. Your coach guides each movement live by video, with clear cues, visual demos and plenty of encouragement.

Most exercises use body weight or simple items you already have. We’ll tell you what to set up before the first session. Equipment list TBD

Who it’s for

Virtual training works best alongside in-gym sessions, or for athletes who can’t make it in every week.

01

Between gym visits

Athletes who want to keep their routine going on days they are not at the gym.

02

Travel is hard

Families who live farther away or have trouble getting to Pasadena regularly.

03

Comfortable at home

Athletes who focus best in a familiar space.

04

Family involvement

Families who want to learn the exercises and practice together.

Before your first virtual session

  • A phone, tablet or computer with a camera, placed so the coach can see the whole body.
  • A clear space about the size of a yoga mat.
  • A support person nearby for athletes who need hands-on help.
  • A water bottle and comfortable clothes.

Inside a virtual session

  1. Check in. A quick hello and a look at the plan for today.
  2. Warm up. The same opening routine every session, so athletes know what comes next.
  3. Move. Strength, balance and mobility work using body weight or simple items at home.
  4. Be proud. A cool-down and a shout-out for every win.

Sensory & communication supports

  • Visual demos and clear, simple cues
  • Coaches who learn how each athlete communicates

Virtual training FAQ

Who can train at Echo Motion?

Athletes of all abilities, ages 10 and up. We specialize in working with people with developmental and other disabilities, including autism, Down syndrome and other developmental or physical disabilities. Not sure if we’re a fit? Call or text us. We’re happy to talk it through.

How is this different from a regular gym?

Everything is built around the athlete. Our coaches have backgrounds in special education and adaptive fitness. We adapt every program to each person’s body, communication style, and sensory needs.

What do I need for virtual sessions?

You’ll need a phone, tablet or computer with a camera, a steady internet connection, and enough clear floor space to move safely. We’ll go over setup with you before your first session. If your athlete needs hands-on help, have a caregiver nearby.

What's the difference between private, small group, and virtual training?

  • Private: one-on-one personal coaching. Best for new athletes or anyone who does better with individual attention.

  • Small group: up to 4 athletes per coach. Personal coaching plus the fun and friendship of training with others.

  • Virtual: live coaching from home. Great if travel is hard or you’re not local to Pasadena.

How long are sessions?

Sessions are 60 minutes.

Do you offer yoga?

Yes, adaptive yoga focused on flexibility, balance and calm.

What if my athlete needs extra support?

That’s what we’re here for. Our coaches adapt to each athlete. If your athlete needs one-on-one help with personal care or behavior during group classes, please bring a caregiver or support staff. Private sessions are also a great option for athletes who need more individual attention.

Can I train alongside my athlete?

Yes, we do offer programs and training for family and caregivers to exercise alongside your athlete. Discuss with your coach or call us for more specific details because each case is unique.
